Great both US & Russians looking great we just need more Germans :roll:

Come on there just doesn't seem to be enough of the master race about when you need them.

Still 2 of them to pay on the list as it is.
There seems to be loads on the forum where are they?

Have they got AK's at a push I may be able to lend out an AK and maybe a Thompson also a bolt action rather than not have them.

Looking at people joining the forum most seem to want to go German hence I find this strange.

would they get away in a m43 caps and camo smocks not sure i read something about no camo or that could have been another game lol it all blends in :)

would 1 be ok in a german great coat and cap

On holiday or playing as Russians like me?

I have contacted all my potential German playing pals, and out of four have one definite no, one maybe and two deafening silences.

Cheers
Martin

This on the face of it sounds ok to me we are fine with camo that was knocked into me practically on day one.
Any wood stock bolt-action rifle will also be fine, and I dare say I can bring one if it is needed. However they should not be too hot on the fps and used in a sensible manner.

I also have a Thompson to lend out.

Is there any room on the yanks going as i have a mate who would potentially come if we can kit him out over the weekend at War and Peace. Looking at the list Spiers (who i presume is coming!) name has not been turned to red and Nick Frost name is blue.

Yes should be ok :good:
Spiers will be there he is just paying me in cash when he sees me next.
& Nick will pay on the day providing he is there.

The preferred option is still to paypal me :D

Hope that helps.

If you have any mates with a German side push them this way :happydance:
I am sure we can find some German loan kit for the day.

Would this game be a good first tryout? Please bear in mind the following;

1) I am very old and too fat so I cannot run around much.

2) I have plenty of possible weapons, but no proper WW2 kit to wear (I usually airsoft in DPMs or a boiler suit, neither would be suitable I assume)

Which side should I go for - (I am interested in all ww2 nationalities and would perhaps ultimately would like to try all...)

Maybe Soviet as I see there may be possibility of loan kit? But could also try to cobble something together in time if another side was a better idea?

Thanks for any advice or encouragement

Sandy

Yes we could find a place for you here.
The best option sounds like Russian, as you will basically need a Great Coat and hat or Helmet.
So do you have any form of wood stock bolt-action rifle?

sandy, if you can get any plain looking grey green or black trousers, and black boots, im sure tiny can lend you a german tunic that would fit, and a german steel helmet as well.

if not , i can lend you a helmet :good: and ive got a few large german camo smocks

let me know mate

more germans are needed sandy, but its your game so its your choice, both russan and german places, its which you would prefer.

each side will have many roles, you dont have to run round like a lunatic, you can do what you like, (within the main objectives) defence, attacking, recon, theres a role for everyone.

germans will be on the defence at the start, russains will be assaulting. but once, sorry IF the russians and americans gain a foothold in the tunnels, then it will be up to side commanders what there men do. (we will assign people to roles to which they feel happy, within the operation requirements)

all you have to do, is pay on the booking thread, choose a side, then let me know asap which side you want so i can get some german/russain kit sorted for you. :good:
